Sreya Krishnakumar - Managing Editor
"Sreya is a hybrid of intensity, randomness, and focus. She visits The Office and the lab very often- one of them has her laughing till she cries and another has her crying till she laughs. With the ability to bring together ideas, and then mercifully transform (*cough, cough* edit) them into finished articles, she loves to integrate teams. She is the brainchild of setting OQEAY Magzine. If you don’t find her writing something, you’ll find her pulling Anushka’s leg, politely correcting everyone's grammar or reminding you that if there’s an ‘h’ in her name, it is only for entertainment purposes."
Anushka Adkar - Website Design and Management
Famously known for trying to put together a drone on the college campus, and (not so famously known) for being afraid of blowing it up, Anushka’s talents range from creating impromptu memes to oil paintings and murals. She has worked extensively on developing OQEAY’s website design and spends her free time writing, painting and reading. Mistaken for a fresher, Anushka assumes the personality of a cat and is constantly regretting missing OPs in the chat.
Onkar Date - Creative Writer
A fifth year Integrated M. Tech. student, Onkar loves to spread exciting scientific facts and explanations. More known for his participation in iGEM, now he helps aspiring students for iGEM as the APAC regional Head. He has an avid interest in all things Science. He loves hearing about and discussing new technologies and rehashing the old; listen to him talk about how synthetic biology is changing the world around us on Sci-Pod. He also takes pleasure in reading, trekking and playing basketball during his spare time.

Devi Krishna
Devi is a third year student involved with marketing and editing magazine and social media content. She's a fiery debater, debuting her bout in our Sci-Pod Podcast where she dabbled on topics like Artificial Intelligence and Pandemic Response. When she's not working away on her VS or on a project report , you'll likely find her rambling away on her Tumblr or sharing memes on MET outfits with Vaishnavi Gangdhar.
Saakshi Methe
An avid reader who enjoys going down the internet rabbit hole. She may not have all the answers but she can furnish you with random science or history trivia at the drop of a hat. She can catch any reader's attention with her amazing articles, often helping everyone behind the curtains. She is the editor behind Sci-Pod’s scripts. You can find her reviewing and leaving comments on documents with constructive suggestions.
She also creates infographic content for OQEAY, and journals in her free time. Saakshi is passionate about bringing change in literally “everything”, starting with education, and given an opportunity, would bring them to effect almost immediately.
Social Media and Publicity
Anushka Singh
A second-year student, Anushka is the simple girl next door. She can go from being a really wild character when amongst her friends, to the shy and introverted girl amongst strangers, within the flick of a finger. She is quick-witted and manages our social media handles really well. Often coordinating between OQEAY teams and members, we call her the soul of the magazine. With an undying love for reading, writing and baking, she is an easily approachable person who can easily make you feel comfortable.
Vaishnavi Gangadhar
Vaishnavi believes she has talked to everybody in her lifetime, and rightly so. She is great at connecting with people, and will definitely feel like she won an Oscar if you give her a compliment. She has managed our social media outreach since day one, and has taken to writing as well which you can read on Medium. Other than writing, she enjoys editing, scripting and hosting Sci-Pod. She loves to do anything that involves creativity and challenging herself, and campaigns for public health and women empowerment through social work. When Vaishnavi is not working on Canva you can see her binge-watching Netflix, reading her favourite classics and pulling Tanisi’s leg.
Apurva Gosavi
Apurva is a curious third year student who aspires to give a dose of humanity in everything she does. An amazing designer and calligraphy artist, she runs an Instagram page for her artwork, The Box of Apurvakshar. Apurva has contributed to designing our magazine logo and issue pages, and is innately curious, taking inspiration from the character of Patrick Jane from The Mentalist. When she is not working you can find her hyping her friends up and is known for being a reliable friend.
Sakshi Kodre
Sakshi is an avid reader, and loves spending time in nature. A third-year student, she dabbles in writing and illustrating for the magazine, and also handles our LinkedIn content. The most kind person on our team, always promptly attending meetings and ever ready to help. She loves medical dramas and Korean shows, and would love to be part of the show ‘Hospital Playlist.’ When not working you can find her gardening and taking care of animals.
Anushka Joshi
Anushka is the sweetest person you would ever meet. A second-year student, she is an absolute social butterfly, until she has her anti-social, me-time phase. Always coming up with out of the box ideas and challenging herself, you can see her messaging everyone as a reminder to complete their work on time. She loves animals and has a hobby of purchasing fancy stationery. She enjoys dancing, reading, binging on shows and exploring the most random places or even topics. If you love Grey’s Anatomy, you might be her new favorite person.

Jigisha Lad
A captivating soul, Jigisha can be this sweet and charming person, who can win anyone over with her words. She is a second-year student and loves writing content for OQEAY. Always quick to help and never complaining we call her the asset of our magazine.She loves dancing, listening to music, writing and playing Badminton. When not doing either of these, you can find her binge-watching shows and movies.
Nayana Varghese
Nayana is a third-year student, who writes magical stuff and hence contributes as a creative writer in OQEAY. She is an avid reader who enjoys reading anything and everything, from adventure fiction to thriller to science fiction. Encyclopedias also hold her interest. She has certain hobbies like cooking, drawing and trekking, while binge watching Netflix shows and anime top the list!
Sanjeevani Pohane
Sanjeevani is a third-year student, and researches and writes content for OQEAY, occasionally making content for our social media pages as well. She is well know for her attention catching news articles on instagram. She is the biggest suporter of the magazine since day one. She is an outdoors person, and spends her free time making memes, writing and cooking.

Akansha Mishra
Akansha is a third-year student, and she appreciates you for not misspelling her name. She designs illustrative content for OQEAY, and occasionally dabbles in some writing as script writer for Sci-Pod. When she’s not painting or illustrating comics, you can find her dreaming of Thanos plunging into a blackhole.
Saumya Pothukuchi
A fourth-year student, Saumya is a cheerful and fun-loving person. She enjoys reading and hiking. You can find her perspective changing articles on OQEAY linkedln. Discussing and debating over current hot issues is also one of her favourite activities. She has a fervent love for animals, and wishes to have many pets someday.
Shreenidhee Teli
A second-year student, Shreenidhee writes content for OQEAY with witty replies at the tip of her tongue. Moreover, you can read her articles on Linkedln and listen to her voice and script for Sci-Pod. She can be this entirely sassy, outgoing person one minute and an introvert, in the next. She loves writing, dancing, painting landscapes, and listening to music. A light drizzle, steaming hot coffee, some favourite novels and a swing marks her happy place.

Tanisi Ramprasad
A fourth-year student, Tanisi, splits her contribution to OQEAY between designing, making memes and writing articles. She is a firm believer of “When life gives you lemonade, make lemons. Life will be all like, ‘What?!’” When she’s not petting dogs, you will find her mocking Vaishnavi. All you have to do is greet her once to find out the first ‘i’ in her name is silent. She has a keen eye for details, color scheme and asthetic details.
Sharvari Deshmukh
A trained Bharatnatyam artist, Sharvari is drawn to arts of different forms. Known for her dance recitals in college events, she creates digital illustrations. She is know for her notable digital comics for OQEAY. A time travel enthusiast, and a Stephen Hawking fan, she would turn down the opportunity to be someone else for a day, unless it involved being herself.
Mrunmayi Shinde
A third-year student, Mrunmayi is our go to person when it comes to designing templates and illustrations. She is an ambivert, the direction which she bends towards (either extrovert or introvert), depends on her mood and the situation. Apart from designing stuff, she also enjoys reading interesting science articles (only to stay connected to the field), drawing and painting. You can find her eye catching templates all over OQEAY’s social media pages. She also indulges in some yoga sessions periodically to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Tanuja Shendkar
"Tanuja is a fourth-year student who designs infographics and miscellaneous content for our issues. A swimmer at heart, her life’s dream is to win an Olympic gold for the country." She is always prompt in her submissions and hyping OQEAY team members.
Srushti Suthar
"Srushti is a fourth-year student who is a self-proclaimed “mountain person”. A happy introvert, she illustrates for OQEAY, and in a parallel universe, wants to be able to fly, and invisibly at that. You can find her playing Mincraft in her free time. Srushti is always optimistic and is the human form of the smiley emoji."
Shruti Upadhyay
A third-year student and a complete fashionista, Shruti is a music and dance enthusiast. She has her own page on Instagram named ‘Shruuzic’, where she exhibits her flair. A person of many talents, she also loves to paint, read and is a keen observer. She also designs templates and hence, works as a creative designer with OQEAY.

Aishwarya Pardhi
A super jolly person, Aishwarya, is a fourth-year student who works as a creative designer for OQEAY. She loves singing and cooking, but the one thing she loves the most is talking. Yes! She never runs out of topics to talk over, even with strangers. No one can ever get bored with her.
Yashashree Joshi
"An avid traveller and passionate about learning new skills, Yashashree is a fourth-year student who writes and occasionally creates social media content for OQEAY. When she’s not travelling from Kerala to Nainital, you can find her cooking or trying to become a genie."
Gayatri Patil
Gayatri is a fourth-year student, with a flair for creative designing. A team player with great passion, she has a positive attitude and is fully invested in the team. She is also passionate about social work and has learnt a great deal from it. She is an extraordinary conversationalist and is blessed with the gift of the gab.

Ajinkya Kothekar
Ajinkya is a third-year student, who works for website designing and management in OQEAY. He enjoys creating new content, especially videography and edits. He hosted Sci-Pod, helping in editing and setting up accounts, we call him the king of Podcasting. He is a vlogger and is interested in podcasting. He also has a longing love for travelling. Hritik More
Hritik is a fourth-year student, who works for Website Designing and Management in OQEAY. He is passionate about learning new skills and exploring. Often the fashionably late but always there to keep his word when submitting his work. He has an avid interest in Technology and Biology. He hobbies include like Football, driving and working out.
Saakshi is a fourth-year who has a very silent profile, only when she isn't around friends, that is. A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, she actively engages in social work and is associated with an NGO.
